Whether it’s buried in a studio or wandering the big beautiful world, Sheilisa Dock aka Sheï is a multidisciplinary artist based in Detroit, Michigan. She is recognized for creating evocative portraiture and immersive public murals. Driven by a desire to explore the human condition, 

Sheilisa’s work is a confluence of lucid dreaming, travel, and intimate encounters.

Her creative process often begins with sketches and photos from her world travels, combined with imagery from their personal dream journal. This fusion results in a unique,, figurative style that is at once intimate and expansive. Sheilisa is known for exploring the theme of "connection" by painting strangers and loved ones features, aiming to capture the fleeting, profound moments of human empathy. Her main focus is to create something that will transform urban spaces into, places of reflection.

Sheilisa’s work has been exhibited in galleries, restaurants, lounges and homes across the United States. Sheï is currently focusing on a new series called “Death X Designer” exploring the relationship human’s, materialism and commodity fetishes.
